Outdoor Launches National Advertising Campaign
APN Outdoor, Australia's largest outdoor advertising company, has launched
a national trade advertising campaign to cement awareness of the company's
move to a single brand strategy across all its Outdoor advertising assets.
The new campaign is targeting media and marketing executives
and will run in national press, as well as trade press. The
campaign carries bright imagery to showcase the engaging and
impactful nature of APN Outdoor’s Roadside and Transit
advertising formats.
APN Outdoor's move to a single brand across all formats was
unveiled by Richard Herring, CEO of APN Outdoor, in December
2007. With the implementation of the new strategy, well known
Outdoor names such as Cody, Buspak and the Tribe national network
of poster sites have been taken down to make way for the single
APN Outdoor brand.
Mr. Herring said the company was moving to deliver more effective
outcomes for advertisers by offering a combination of formats
that puts consumer impact and engagement at the centre of the
proposition. He said the company had developed detailed knowledge
on how people interact with Outdoor advertising formats and
the effectiveness of individual formats.
APN Outdoor has over 34,000 single sites across Australia in
transit and roadside environments. Moving forward, marketers
and agencies will be able to use combinations of APN Outdoor's
inventory based on consumer demographics and audience delivery.
APN Outdoor is a division of APN News and Media Ltd.
