MPG exec stars on APN Outdoor MaxiBus
MPG executive, Agnes Gudz, has gained overnight celebrity status with her
photo wrapped around an entire MaxiBus. The special Agnes-branded MaxiBus
will transport passengers on the Eastern Suburbs to Sydney City route during
October and November.
Agnes is the winner of a national ‘Big in Transit’ promotion
run by Australia’s largest outdoor advertising company,
APN Outdoor, which aimed to give media professionals the same
exhilaration a client feels when they see their brand made big
by Transit.
Agnes said the MaxiBus was a big thing for her.
“It feels great. My parents want to follow the bus around;
they think it’s so special. I’ve had a lot of reaction
from people. Even though I live of the Lower North Shore, loads
of my friends live in the Eastern Suburbs and many have seen
the bus already. They message me and are very excited. They
say, we saw you – we’ve seen the Agnes bus!”

During the month-long promotion, media professionals were invited
to upload their photos to a microsite to see their faces splashed
across the company's different Transit formats.
APN Outdoor general manager, marketing, Paul McBeth, said entries
flooded in via the microsite and the unique promotion had
been an outstanding success. “We have 32,000 Transit panels
nationally and the promotion has increased awareness of the
different Transit formats within the industry,” said McBeth.
