New Buspak products make impressive debut
APN Outdoor today announced its new Buspak Fullback products
had made an exciting debut on the market, with Nokia becoming
the first client to use the products to launch a national
advertising campaign.
Introduced to the market last week, the response to the new
products – the Fullback and Portrait packages - had resulted
in an overwhelming number of forward bookings for the products
from a diverse range of APN Outdoor’s finance, beverage
and consumer goods clients.
APN Outdoor General Manager Sales and Marketing, Tony Prentice,
said: “We are very pleased with the market’s response
to the new products. Demand for these products has been extraordinary.
As a result of demand for the new products, we have commissioned
another package of Portraits in the lead up to Christmas.”
Nokia’s advertising campaign – designed to launch
Nokia Music – uses a multi-faceted Buspak campaign involving
multiple Buspak formats in addition to the Fullbacks. These
include Twin 8s, MaxiVehicles, Transit Interiors and Bluetooth
broadcast units on buses in Sydney and Melbourne. The campaign
also featured Tribe cross-track sites in Sydney and Melbourne
targeting the train commuter advertising network.

Fullback Package: At 2.4m x 2.4m, the Fullback
format carves out its own creative space to dominate the road
and command attention. Covering the entire bus rear, the Fullback
format delivers unparalleled exposure to boost “cut through”.
The Fullback Package is distributed across the five metro markets,
based on population spread to ensure relevant and effective
weights, market by market.
Portrait Package: With national packages of 1000
panels, the Portrait Package gives more reach in every market.
This package utilises a combination of rear and side formats to
ensure a campaign is viewed by both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Teamed with a new pricing structure, Buspak delivers greater cost
efficiencies than ever before. The framed display enhances the
quality of the presentation and with standard sizes; the formats
make creative design and planning easy. The Portrait Package is
distributed across the five metro markets, based on population
spread to ensure relevant and effective
